Meet your Practitioner
Georgia’s first Certified Crossinology® Brain Integration practitioner, whose passion for holistic healing and personal transformation drives everything we do at ABI.

India Martin
Say hello to India Martin, the heart and soul behind Atlanta Brain Integration (ABI). Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, India was exposed to a very diverse community, that embraced holistic healing long before it was popular in other parts of the country. Growing up in a multicultural household herself, by an elementary age India was already learning about the power of holistic approaches.
Although India believes that traditional medicine has its place; witnessing the results of flawed treatment she saw the need to supplement with alternative approaches. India was introduced to Brain Integration through a trusted practitioner, to assist with her own emotional regulation. After experiencing the incredible impact it had on her and her family, she became a full believer in how this practice plays a key part in overall health and wellness!
At the encouragement of a seasoned practitioner & her family, India decided to take the leap and proudly became the first certified Brain Integration practitioner in Georgia. India is a devoted wife and loving mom of three with strong family connections. She enjoys participating in volunteer work, travel, shopping, music, and exploring new things.
Science Behind The Treatment
“The Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique, a natural, drug-free alternative proven to resolve learning difficulties. This cutting-edge, non-invasive technique offers you, or a loved one, a soothing and relaxing experience that relieves stress while delivering a permanent change in your performance. ” — Susan McCrossin, Founder
Crossinology Brain Integration Technique (BIT) is a cutting-edge/drug-free technique, based in kinesiology that improves the functioning of the brain. BIT combines kinesiology, physiology, and the acupressure meridian system to address symptoms and issues that make learning, and often life itself very hard.
BIT uses a complete protocol addressing 120 different areas, identifying and relieving stress in the brain to improve the way you think, behave, feel, and the way your body moves. This protocol is effective for children as well as adults.

Frequently Asked Questions
BIT is a very relaxing, non-invasive procedure. The client typically lies on a massage table and the practitioner uses muscle monitoring, acupressure touch, and gently holds the head to make the correction. Clients report that BIT is very relaxing and often rejuvenating.
The BIT protocol takes a minimum of 12 sessions to complete. However, this can vary based on the individual needs of each client. Clients come for sessions ranging from 1 to 3 hours and may have multiple sessions in one day. Small children are recommended a shorter, ½ hour visit. During the first visit, you will be assessed to determine an approximate number of sessions the protocol will take. Once you complete the BIT protocol, it is recommended that you come back for an initial check-up after 4-6 weeks. Additional checkups will be recommended by your practitioner.
Many clients report changes after the first session. However, you may not see changes until the entire protocol is finished and the brain has the time to integrate the changes.
No. BIT can only take stress out of the synaptic “wires” of the brain. A BIT Practitioner cannot change your personality, or make you a different person. A BIT practitioner cannot harm the brain because we are not using chemicals, computers, or physical adjustments of any kind.
No. An ADD brain often seems more creative because an individual with ADD has more access to the creative hemisphere of the brain than to the logic hemisphere. In this case, people with ADD/ADHD become more focused and effective, because BIT opens up access to the logic hemisphere.
Most clients report better sleep, a more relaxed state of being, decreased stress, anxiety and worry, more success in school and work (sometimes can be quite drastic), a clearer mind, tasks that once were hard are easier or very easy, ability in areas that were previously hard, improved digestion and health, etc.! The list goes on and on.
Clients may choose to stretch out the treatment period for any reason. It is recommended that a client finish the main protocol within 3 months of starting, but this is a general guideline.
Children of any age are candidates for BIT. School age children benefit especially well. If you child is 8 years old or less, you should plan on staying in the room during the treatment. ABI Practitioners are not responsible for unattended children.
BIT is not covered by any type of insurance. However, we accept HSA payments and are happy to provide documentation for insurance or any flexible spending accounts upon request.
Appointments are generally scheduled in one of three ways: weekly or bi-weekly, over the course of 2-3 days, or spread out but longer sessions. Your practitioner can help you choose the right path for you.
